About the Author

Ken Horn is the editor of Today’s Pentecostal Evangel, the official publication of the Assemblies of God. He received his bachelor’s degree from Bethany University, an M.A. from Simpson College, the D.Min. from California Graduate School of Theology, and did additional graduate work at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. Horn pastored three churches in California and Oregon. He has taught theology and related subjects on the graduate and undergraduate levels at Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, Simpson College and other institutions. His twelve published books include Revival Sermons; Living Like Jesus; Silk Road Stories; and Trusting God and Jesus and You (both with George O. Wood and Hal Donaldson). He has contributed hundreds of articles to numerous publications. Ken and his wife, Peggy, also traveled as missionary evangelists in Eastern Europe and hosted a live television program. He currently serves as president of the International Pentecostal Press Association.

Ken maintains a blog, called Snapshots, at khorn.agblogger.com, and hosts a popular podcast, TPExtra. He is available to present compelling, understandable presentations of Theology in a Nutshell in churches, conferences, and groups of all kinds. He also has a passion for revival and renewal in the church and delights in discussing what today’s church can learn from the history of revival.
